Kaddish and Memorial Services
Colel Chabad has offered Kaddish memorial services for the departed since 1788. The organization is committed to honoring those who have passed away and providing comfort for the bereaved. Kaddish services are offered year-round, with a quorum of rabbis and scholars present during recitations.
The Kaddish service is an important part of the mourning process for many Jews, and Colel Chabad takes its responsibility to continue this tradition seriously. All proceeds from donations and offerings made to the service are 100% allocated towards Colel Chabad’s food and social welfare services, which provide assistance to those in poverty and other forms of distress.
To ensure that all the memorials are preserved and documented accurately, Colel Chabad has created an active archive that contains records of Jewish life and death. This archive includes a database of Jewish cemeteries and burial records, allowing visitors to locate gravesites and pay tribute to departed loved ones.
